The Dragonfly Observation Tower at Karkarook Park is located directly opposite the information shelter and toilet area. Access to the tower ramp is via two concrete surfaced semi-circular boardwalk paths. The ramp has level rest areas and at the end there's a large flat observation area that provides the perfect vantage point overlooking the park and the lake to the north. Below the observation tower there is a sealed path that leads down to the lake. The Dragonfly Observation Tower is also a great spot from which to take photos.
