Not only do they push you to do everything online so that you don't bother them and actually work. They also take a lunch break and close the bank between 1 to 2. WHATS THE POINT OF BANKING WITH NAB WITH SERVICE THIS TERRIBLE.....

I wasn't too happy with the level of customer service I received at the Healesville branch this afternoon. All I did was make an enquiry as to whether they exchange Indonesian currency. The response I received from the staff member was a serious look then she asked whether I was a customer, to which I replied with a no. It wasn't the question that bothered me, it was the way the customer service was delivered. The manner in which she responded to me came across as though I had done something wrong. Something that I shouldn't have done, when all I did was make a simple enquiry. Prior to visiting NAB, I tried my bank first, which is the Commonwealth. There I received excellent customer service! The staff member in a polite cheerful manner asked how I was, she apologised for the fact that they don't exchange Indonesian currency anymore, she also went on to say that the only money exchange place she can think of that is close is (I can't remember the name she said to me) a place at Chirnside Park Shopping Centre. I have found over the last few years or so the staff at Commonwealth to have great customer service. Quite friendly and helpful. It's a shame that I didn't receive the same level of customer service at the NAB.
