        This IME tried to use diabetes as a reason to deny a surgery request, it's no longer a valid reason to do so. He was friendly and smooth in the assessment then his report missed out key details and it appears in a format that supports a work-cover insurer denying valid claims for medical procedures. After this experience I would not recommend this surgeon to anyone. When medicine changes you change with it. I would not be surprised if he was on the payroll.

        Dr Tim Wood played a huge role in my recovery. My first consult left me feeling heard and filled with confidence. Dr Wood has an abundance of expertise and provided me with a timeline for my road to recovery. Dr Wood is very proactive, relatable and used an appropriate narrative which gave me hope. If it wasnt for Dr Wood, I honestly dont know where I would be at the moment. I have and will continue to always recommend Dr Wood.

        Didn't get to the Dr stage. The receptionist is a very rude individual with the empathy and compassion of a housebrick. I told her my name and she said they haven't received my referral. When I told her that the office called me and I'm returning the call she asked for my name so she could check. Sounds like she didn't check in the first place, the didnt receive it line is just a lazy response by a Cant be bothered receptionist. It's a pity because I hear Dr Wood is one of the best.
