After my toaster decided to blow out all the power at my home (sob) - I conacted E J Lack for help. I was really impressed with the way the person who answered the phone tried to trouble shoot with me first, talking through my switchboard settings etc to try and save me the cost of a call out. When it was clear I had a major issue, the case was escalated, I was informed throughout the day on an eta for an electrician, they arrived on time and were fantastic. The issues were clearly explained, and I was also given the option to upgrade my switches or not - with all the pros and cons laid out. I will thrilled with their service and will definitely use them again. Service: Electrical power restoration

We have had the pleasure of using E J Lack's services for at least 10 years (in 3 different houses!) They are ALWAYS reliable, punctual, friendly and professional. We recently moved into a Victorian house with many "challenges". The EJ Lack team have always come up with economical solutions to remedy some weird electrical installations in this house, in order to make them good, safe and upgraded to professional standards. For EJ Lack it seems there are no problems, only solutions. They also recommended a builder to us, with whom EJ Lack's team coordinates seemlessly. Their Office Manager's title is actually "Client Happiness" which says it all really, as all members of the team strive (and achieve) client happiness at every job. Need I say more... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Admittedly Ive taken 12 months to write this review, although thats probably allowed me to be more objective. I utilised EJ Lack for a complete re-wire of my owner-built home after using them successfully on a number of other jobs. Their field work is excellent, and they use good materials. However, their approach to variation management was poor, with 9x variations submitted with the final invoice. 5x of these claims were ultimately dropped as it was demonstrated they were allowed for in their original quotation. I believe this was driven by a disconnect between their field staff and management. Its a shame really as I would have continued to use them otherwise.
