        A great play space even on a windy and wet day! Everything the previous reviews stated were accurate but I did not know about the HAMSTER WHEEL! It's a lot of fun for kids of _all_ ages!

        Wow oh wow! What a fantastic place for kids, families, picnickers, walkers etc. And I thought Dendy Park had a great play area. This is so much better. So many activities for kids, castles to climb, flying fox, sandpit and water trough (for making excellent mud pies), climbing ropes, slides, animals to climb on (fake animals hello), forts to hide in, things just to look at and wonder what they are (and couple of things had me puzzled!) and so much more. There's undercover picnic areas, barbecues and bathroom and lots of open ground just to run around on. Thomas Street Reserve play area easily best free play area I've seen and even puts some of the paid play spaces to shame.
