It is a pity that such an important site is off limits to the public. I do understand why, the property still belongs to family descendants. There is nothing left of the Kelly hut that Ned Built for his mum. Being built with timber and bark it was gone long ago. The brick chimneys both have collapsed which is a real pity because they still had historical significance because they were added onto Mrs Kellys hut at a later date. The site is not hard to find and only part of the road to the site is dirt and is good condition. If you are a true Ned nut like me you will be glad you came for a look.
