The Victorian Rehabilitation Centre

I was lucky enough to do my rehab here last year after my right knee replacement. The physio was the best ,absolutely wonderful. The nurses were also very caring and so helpful. Nothing was to much for them. The Dr. was also lovely, helpful and very caring. Food was absolutely delicious. All was very impressive and very much appreciated. Am having my left knee done in 3 weeks and can only hope and pray that I will be sent there again.

Unwelcoming and unsupportive team environment for staff, students and new grads. Management did not care about staff which created a toxic environment and professionals were so overloaded that there is a lack of focus on quality evidence based practise.

My wife had nine days in rehab following knee replacement. We were extremely happy with the attention she received. The nurses were so friendly and helpful. She was impressed with the quality and taste of the meals.

I spent 3 weeks is here and the nurses male and female were they all made me feel quite comfortable and safe. The Cafe after I could move around made a coffee that was the best a ever had and it was the same everyday. The service from the cafe was way over and beyond as the day before valentines I asked the lady if she could buy me some flowers to give my wife and she went out of her way the buy me a bunch after her hard day at work. I truly cant thank them enough for their help. The food was ok there was more than enough breakfast morning tea lunch and then afternoon tea dinner and then tea afterwards. I put on 4 kgs lol As I had had a stroke I was embarrassed about my speech and the speech pathologist was a huge help also she was very pretty, gave me something to look forward to every day.

The food here is not varied, very little meat and few vegetables. All right if you want caskets and dessert. Seems to be lacking in nutrition. Care by staff is great
