Hinkler Reserve Playground

randomly came here 4 years ago and ate corn cheese from BBQ Code on a bench, then hung out on a swing for a little while, and then walked back to the station, lol. but i still think about this place every once in a while it's quite nice

This park as a smaller sized playground with all of the popular equipment on it. But has 2 big pits filled with nature and rocks that are fun for little kids and dogs to climb, as well as so much open space and grass good for running. Hinkler reserve is a nature park and is very clean filled with all sorts of species of local plants and local wildlife. This reserve is amazing for nature photography, dog play, playground use and even just a walk through. The park features a fenced off area which is the only area requiring dogs on leads and that space is a little nature gem and is truely magical. I can not say enough good things about this park. Generally speaking, there are very few people there and its peak is between 3-5 with dog walkers. Ive attached some pictures of my dog really enjoying herself during one of our recent visits
