The Children's Surgery

Very happy with Prof Chris Kimber, he came highly recommended to me by a top adult surgeon. In addition to his incredible skill and knowledge he makes an effort to be approachable and relate to the children he sees. I was able to accompany my son to the operating theatre until he was anaesthetised and see him and the dynamic medical team in action. Very reassuring. He can appear to be a man of few words but thats just his no bs way.

With an 11 week old newborn requiring surgery we were so nervous prior to meeting Mr Peter Ferguson. His professionalism and calm nature put us at ease instantly. We had full trust that our little one would be in the best care and we werent wrong. The surgery went so well and our baby had a great recovery. We are so thankful to Mr Peter Ferguson and his team for taking such good care of our precious newborn. Highly recommend.

Dr Kimber, the surgery & receptionist are are lovely, however due to being so busy, there is no time to get questions answered or to go through what to expect, outcomes after surgery etc. To put it into perspective, I had my second post surgery appointment which I specifically made to ask questions. Paid $120 for 3 minutes and dont feel any more reassured about my sons post surgery condition. Especially difficult when you cant just google the outcomes due to the sensitivity of the topic.

Chris did an operation for my son and unfortunately the situation before and after the operation are exactly the same! We only paid the money with no success in resolving the issue.

Absolutely fantastic team in the practice. Chris is such a nice man, very patient and caring. Highly recommended.
