Unfortunately depends on who you get. Was told by a male employee that I needed a specific document & that it would be coded on the system & the problem would be solved. Sounds easy right? Returned with the document the next week, was assisted by a woman this time, who basically said my document is a waste of time and that she's not responsible for what other co-workers say. She was more interested in telling me numerous times that shes worked for centrelink 16 years, & knows what shes talking about, in a quite condescending tone. It's a shame that in 16 years you don't possess better customer service skills, or just people skills in general when your talking to people. You are actually there to assist & help people I hope you understand this? They don't care that they waste your time, & can constantly tell you different things. For most people I think that's what they get angry/annoyed/ frustrated about, being givin the run around, & being told, go here, go there, to sort your problems, one person telling you this, another contradicting, telling you that. I hope I never have to go in there again. Past experiences had been fine.

Went there last Wednesday to update my name and seek help linking my account. The lady that assisted me and one of the receptionists that morning tried their best to help me. Although it has not been resolved while I was there, the lady that assisted me was ice enough to write down a list of the other options that I have so I wouldnt forget them. Luckily one of those worked! Thank you and sorry I forgot your names

I have wasted 2 hours to day ,! Talking to the computer Voice,! And it hang up 7 times,! And I'm still waiting for a human being to talk to,! But this is not happening as yet,! Not happy Jan,!!!!

Went in on a Thursday morning with no appointment (brought my passport, Medicare card and ID). It was very empty and the centre was so clean. The two guards at the door were so polite and told me where to go. Within a minute I was called to the counter and assisted by a lady called Karen. She was lovely and so helpful. She managed to get everything sorted for me within minutes! Im so impressed with the efficiency and how organised it was. I was in and out the door within 10 minutes. Thank you for the fuss-free experience!

Returned with the document the next week, was assisted by a woman this time, who basically said my document is a waste of time and that she's not responsible for what other co-workers say.
She was more interested in telling me numerous times that shes worked for centrelink 16 years, & knows what shes talking about, in a quite condescending tone.
It's a shame that in 16 years you don't possess better customer service skills, or just people skills in general when your talking to people.
You are actually there to assist & help people I hope you understand this?
