I injured myself at work and during the process I got sent to Dr Robbins as an independent medical examiner, the appointment was via Zoom even though all the discussion we had pointed to my injury being from work he came back and said it was not work related, myself and 2 other staff were sent to Dr Robbins and all had the same outcome. Dr Robbins is a fraud and seems to have a vested interest in protecting companies rather than doing whats right. Avoid having an appointment with him at any cost. The workplace I work at has very repetitive work causing many wrist injuries.

Dr Robbins almost ruined my life. He works as a supposedly independent dr for a workplace injury insurance company. I use the word independent loosely. I work for a cold storage warehouse, a lot of manual handling. Ive been there for 16 years. I developed carpal tunnel in both my hands. I reported it through work and it then went through their insurance. I was then scheduled an appointment with Dr Robbins as an independent doctor. It was a zoom consultation and he was very brief. His diagnosis was that my carpal tunnel was not work related. As of that my work would not offer me alternative duties because Dr Robbins said my injury was not work related. My gp and surgeon were in shock by dr Robbins findings and I was advised to contest his decision, which I did. I booked a medical panel to look over my case. I had to wait 5 months with no income and a family to support with two young kids. I had to use all my annual leave and long service leave. But there was also quite a number of weeks with no pay, as I exhausted all my leave. The medical panel went in my favour. The Bourdain this had caused to myself and my family is inexcusable. Beware of Dr Robbins! If you have him as an independent medical dr for an insurance company, reschedule it with another Dr. He is a dinosaur who is in the insurance companys back pocket. Stay clear!! Ive had a response to my review which says, This website is being trolled. Please ignore this comment. This is completely false and who ever writes a negative review on this man gets the same generic reply. I wrote this review to tell you all about my experience and so other people dont go through the same thing as I did. Take care and I hope this review helps someone in the future.

It pains me to give Dr Robbins 1 star. This man has ruined my life after removal of breast implants 3 years ago. While this should have been a reasonably simple procedure it turned into a nightmare. On one side he removed over one third of my breast muscle, the other side more than half my breast tissue and in one place removed all my breast tissue leaving a gapping hole. On top of this Dr R cut and permanently severed my left pec muscle. I have since had three reconstructive surgeries, but will never be where near pre surgery. As a result of my outcome Dr R took has taken my femininity and feel so ashamed of my appearance. Post surgery I saw three very recognised Plastic Surgeons who advised they have never seen such a dreadful outcome. Dr R is a butcher. Do not not go near him. I am not a troll only someone telling the absolute truth about a Dr who should no longer be practising.

The only troll on this website is the person denying these reviews. My experience with him is very similar to these other 1 star reviews. I put in a formal complaint about this doctor before his report was even sent to the insurance company. My experience with Dr Robbins was that he was incredibly unprofessional. I saw him am as an IME and there was nothing independent about him. 5 other medical professionals including specialists have supported my claim. Its interesting that the man employed by the insurance company is the only one that doesnt. I encourage anyone sent to see this man for an IME to request someone else. His report was full of inaccuracies and false information and unfortunately for me this report was used to determine the outcome of my workers injury claim. Beware of this doctor if seeing him for a workers injury claim for carpal tunnel syndrome. He already knows what your report will say before he examines you because he has an outdated belief that carpal tunnel syndrome is NEVER work related. Hand specialists, orthopaedic surgeons and other doctors have since agreed that my injury is work related. Do yourself a favour and request someone else.
