Gaslit me, spoke down to me and minimised my experience. Dismissed my life altering symptoms as mental health related, despite recording moderate pop measurements, whilst simultaneously describing it as insignificant. If that isnt conflicting enough, she refused to check the sizing of my pessary despite being the very person qualified to do so. Perhaps I got her on a bad day, perhaps the hour and a half wait past my scheduled appointment time left her stressed and scrambling to get me in and out to make up for lost time. Whatever the reason, her bedside manner was shocking, unacceptable and downright nasty. She may be an incredibly skilled surgeon but I wouldnt feel comfortable paying her another cent or subjecting myself to that again. However, these reviews about her being compassionate do give me hope for others, I can only hope others will get a better level of care than I did. Respectfully, please do not bother replying to my review asking me to contact the office, elaborate or give her another chance. Thank you.

I have been a patient of Dr DeSouza for the past several years, she has helped me with my incontinence via medication rather than surgery for a third time, it has been a life changer for me and I cannot thank her enough for her kind heart, medical knowledge, compassion and listening skills. Thank you

Very unprofessional and insensitive. I left her office in tears and my husband left feeling furious with the way she spoke to us. The worst health care experience yet.
