I got the Q-switch laser and it took a grand total of 2 mins. I would expect a service which costs $350 to be a little more thorough and reassuring as has been my experience with similar treatments in clinics on the southeast side. My face wasnt wiped down before receiving the laser and just a tiny bit of sunscreen applied afterwards

During my appointment, I felt that my concerns were not fully heard and that I was not provided with appropriate treatment options. Specifically, I was recommended to take a pill indefinitely or a 6-week course of antibiotics, despite explaining that my skin changed after I had taken antibiotics for unrelated reasons. Furthermore, Dr. Tayles advised me to stop using oil cleansers and retinol, which had been the only things that consistently helped my skin, without providing any alternative solutions or taking into account my individual needs and preferences. Additionally, I came to the appointment hoping to discuss the possibility of having fungal acne or perioral dermatitis, but these concerns were completely dismissed without thorough examination or investigation. As a patient, I expect to receive comprehensive and personalised care from my healthcare providers, and I dont feel that this was the case during my appointment with Dr. Tayles. I essentially spent twice the amount I would at a normal GP and walked out with a prescription of antibiotics which I didnt want.

The staff and receptionists at Northside Dermatology were absolutely lovely! I had an incredibly severe flare up of eczema on my face and have made a complete turn around in just one week! I felt really comfortable and heard in both of my appointments. Even when understaffed due to sickness they worked effectively and were so friendly even under pressure! Their advice has absolutely changed my life. Thank you to the lovely ladies that helped me out!! Appreciate you all so much

I had my first consult with Dr Liu yesterday. Firstly all the staff I interacted with during my experience; from the administrative staff, to the nurses and the doctor were very kind and patient. Dr Liu was very accomodating. Both professional and with excellent bedside manner. When it came to assessing and giving me options for my various treatments, she explained everything to me. When I left, I felt well informed and confident about my selected treatment options. Overall it was a very positive experience. I look forward to retuning for my follow up in 3 months.
