Im loving retirement! Lots of time and enough money to play. Its probably more than 25 years since Shane first offered advice about super and wealth protection. It has not been an even path as we had a family business then I became a consultant Shane has given me strategic advice all the way through. He has always been honest and explained the financial facts of life. I've conducted my finances through SBA for well over 10 years now and gradually have moved my mother and brother's accounts over as well. SBA staff are always very helpful and keep me updated on the state of my finances on a regular basis. They also keep me informed of any government benefits or liabilities I may encounter. I have a review with Shane a couple of times a year where we look at how my portfolio is going and have a bit of a discussion about movies. I greatly appreciated Shane's assistance dealing with my mother's accounts after she died. It's on these occasions when you really see the value of professional advice. SBA use Dimensional Investing who use financial science to provide reliable returns and avoid disastrous losses. They also run two seminars a year where they get experts to provide updates on how things are going. For the Christmas seminar they also have a celebrity speaker as a bit of light entertainment. I have been very satisfied with my dealings with SBA over the years and would encourage you to check them out.
