My daughter has been doing pottery with penny for 4 years and loves it! Its a relaxed creative space where they learn the skills but choosing their own projects. We will be here forever I suspect!

Penny is a wonderful teacher, patient, knowledgeable and quite humorous. I have throughly enjoying coming each week to class handbuilding different things under her guidance.

Penny's pottery classes are great and flexible in that there's no you must do it this way or its wrong. She teaches hand building and the wheel and also has special workshops for glass sometimes. It's always fun and the people in the class are so friendly and if you like dogs Sully's wandering around. It's best to do a wheel workshop first and then enter the term classes and usually in the term classes you have the option to either do a wheel option or hand building, I try do the wheel because I always forget how to do it all! It's very relaxing and therapeutic! If you prefer regiment and one set way of doing things this may not be for you, but I think it's a great class as it teaches you to adapt and accept what might go wrong or learn the ability to fix it and make it right!
