Dr Gerard Powell is the best Orthopaedic Surgeon in town and I'll never forget my experience with him. I was referred to him by another Orthopaedic Surgeon due to having a tumour in my hip and requiring a surgeon that specialised in the field of tumours. Prior to meeting with him, I had been told many different diagnosis by different professionals whilst living my life in crippling pain. We went on a long journey together that's too long for a review, but I'll never forget the fact that I finally found a surgeon who put in the work and got me the answers I needed. He is such a down to earth surgeon and makes you feel at ease. Even my parents loved him and felt reassured that I was in the best hands. Thanks to Gerard, I've now been tumour free in my hip, pain free and living my best life since 2011. I'm now able to do the things that I couldn't do before. I learnt many lessons as a young adult due to this experience. I was diagnosed with a sarcoma in my leg whilst pregnant with my fourth child. I was so upset and scared about what would happen to me. Mr Powell is a gentleman. He has been helping me during my experience with cancer. He operated on me and has been dealing with my ongoing check ups for the past 6 years. I thank God for meeting him. He truly is an angel of a man.
