After going through 9 years of Infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss and feeling let down with bulk billing clinics my husband and I were at a loss. After doing lots of research into different specialists, that specialised in my numerous health conditions, we came across Dr Russell. From our first appointment we were made to feel welcome, heard, comfortable and validated. Chris made himself available when we had questions or needed more clarification on something. We are now 12w6d with our miracle baby and couldn't be more grateful and thankful to Chris for making this dream a reality. We will be forever grateful to Dr Russell.

After multiple losses we decided to change specialists and came across Dr Chris Russell. It was the best decision we ever made. Dr Russell gave us confidence from the first consult and we are now blessed with 2 beautiful boys. Dr Russell and all the staff at the clinic are so caring and understanding. Highly recommend Dr Russell.

Chris Russel has excellent bedside manners, he is so nice, he was always available to me when I was pregnant. Unfortunately Chris misdiagnosed me with a bicornate uterus. Multiple times. I did challenge his diagnosis however he was adamant I had a bicornate uterus. I trusted him. Once I fell pregnant I was heavily bleeding. Chris did everything to make sure I was taken care of. Providing me with scans whenever I needed it; contacting me; really attentive; however when it came to bleeding he advised that this was normal for my pregnancy and to try accept this. I went to the emergency room on multiple times. Unfortunately, I went into labour and gave birth at 19 weeks in the front seat of our car (despite being in hospital 10 hours earlier due to bleeding and sent home by his covering doctor). We lost our baby girl in such a traumatic way. Chris called me straight away. He told me to come in the next day. I knew he really cared that this had happened to us. I have no doubt. He told me that unfortunately due to my bicornate uterus this can happen and that I just have to have the courage to try again. I couldnt accept this advice. After seeking alternative medical advice I was correctly diagnosed by another obstetrician with a Septate uterus. I had the surgery to have it successfully removed. And after two years of further IVF, we successfully had a baby boy under the care of another obstetrician. Unfortunately the trauma I went through after the loss of our daughter, the multiple surgeries to misdiagnose me for multiple years has really taken a toll on me. Chris is wonderful if you have a straight forward pregnancy. His staff are just lovely and they are attentive and they do care. But if you have a high risk pregnancy, it is probably best to speak to an obstetrician who is more specialised in High-Risk pregnancies and uterine abnormalities. I lost a baby in a terribly traumatic way and this was due to Chriss incorrect diagnosis, while I was under his care and the care of the covering obstetricians who were on call that evening.

Whilst Im very early in any possibly treatments I Highly recommend Chris and his team. After finding out low AMH at an earlier age I reached out for answers after a 4+ month local wait, I was able to have an appointment with Chris almost straight away. He was extremely prompt with all referrals and follow ups and whilst Im sure he is busy with a lot of patients i havent felt like I have had to wait for any appointments or answers. Like Chris, his staff are just so lovely, personable but professional as well, especially Jan and Donna who have graciously followed up all emails, referrals, results. Whatever path I choose I am extremely grateful to the team here for everything they have done for me so far and would happily travel the 3 hours to receive treatments.
