Brendan O'Brien Neurosurgery

After an unexpected (and confronting)diagnosis of a brain tumour, I attended a swiftly arranged consultation with Brendan O'Brien. It was immediately obvious that Brendan has a very extensive knowledge and experience in Neurosurgery but he also has a most inclusive and reassuring manner. My husband was happy to be included in the discussion and decision making process. A few days ago I had a successful left parietal craniotomy. Although Brendan was the main surgeon, it was clear that he has built an awesome team around him. Maryanne and Jess provided ongoing, practical and problem solving in the office and I am very grateful for their prompt assistance. The medical team were very calm, respectful and supportive. Brendan, I am so grateful for your skills and your knowledge but also for your constant reassurance. I felt very safe in your care and am so happy to recommend you to any other patient in need of an excellent Surgeon.

Brendan is a wonderful surgeon who operated on my husband 15 years ago today at St.Vincents Hospital for a subarachnoid brain aneurysm. Brendan was so professional, warm and caring. Garry and I will be forever grateful to Brendan for saving his life

Mr OBrien is thorough with his medical evaluation, pleasant, and a remarkably cultivated and educated man. I feel at ease based on the informative discussion and ongoing management plan to which he took the time to explain in laymans terms. Simone at receptionist is also a pure delight.
