Eaglehawk Motel

I booked in for a Saturday night stay on the 20th of May. Unfortunately on my way to see my Mum who has lived in Eagle hawk for 15 years and is now in a nursing home, my car broke down on the way. I rang the hotel 2+ hours prior to check in to explain what had happened that I was no able to keep my reservation, and was told that I will have to pay for the full cost of the room for the night. I said I understood though how can I help that my car had broken down? Then I rang again to see if at least if I could just cover a deposit and was told "no" call me again tomorrow to discuss. I said you know what just do what you see fit and then today I found out they did take out the whole night out of my account. So, not only did I have to pay for a toe truck I am now out of pocket for a room I was not able to stay in. It's not about the money but the principal.

Worst service ever i will give zero star the owner is too rude while check out he didnt give us time to check out and forcefully told us to leave the room its time I didnt even get time to fully packed my stuff and also he argues with me and uses abusive language

An old 'un but a good 'un. Room was clean and the bed very comfortable. In my decades of experience, the number of lights not working is usually indication of level of maintenance. All lights were in good working order. Thought that traffic noise was going to be an issue, but all quiet after sundown. Very handy to all the "The Borough" has too offer.
