I really wanted to give a higher rating after reading so many great reviews. Firstly I will say, the staff and the atmosphere, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Couldnt fault it, all of the servers were polite, well-spoken and brought out everything with precision and perfect timing. The little panini with olive oil and balsamic was a great little appetiser, especially with the bread being slightly warmed. Unfortunately though our meals; the Pizza Siciliana and Linguine alla Pescatore were just a bit average. They werent bad per se, just nothing exciting. The pizza had a good combination of flavours, and the base was beautifully done, but there was a lack of flavour with the sausage, and the potatoes unfortunately were way underdone and under seasoned. They were more of a boiled potato rather than having a nice crispy crunch with rosemary salt or something to compliment the sausage. Just a bit bland to be honest. With the linguine alla pescatore, to my own admission I am extremely critical as its one of my favourite dishes and have tasted some stand out dishes. Unfortunately the flavour was more complimenting the red sugo which had more of a Napoli flavour, rather than complementing the seafood. A touch less sauce, and a bit more garlic and white wine to really bring out those seafood flavours would have really made the plate sing. Once again, not a bad dish, just average. The linguine was cooked to perfection and al dente but just no additional wow factor. Thank you for a great evening and hospitality.
