The pathologist who took my various vital fluids and ECG made me really comfortable and was efficient, thorough, and friendly. Only small issue was that a procedure that my referring doctor had asked to be bulk billed couldnt be, but this was explained to me well.

This has to be the best pathology. All their nurses are extremely experienced. They find your vein in one go. I have extremely thin veins and most of the lab cant get it one shot. Plus they open 7:30 am on a Saturday.

Extremely rude staff and unacceptable treatment of people simply trying to do the right thing. Apology demanded. We went to this practice in the hopes of getting a covid test, not knowing that it was a travellers only test site. We tried calling three times prior to our visiting to check that it was a walk in site, however no one picked up. We then drove up to the practice and asked the people lining up whether or not they were there to get tested for covid, and everyone said yes, so we assumed it must be okay. After waiting in the queue for roughly 10min, we were met with a lady holding a QR code asking us if we were travelling to Queensland, we said we weren't travelling anywhere. My son then explained to her that he was exposed socially while interacting with a friend, which was why we needed to get tested. What we were then met with was potentially the most shocking behaviour I have ever experienced at any medical practice. She began to rudely and loudly yell at us accusing us of putting everyone in danger, and said that our "ignorance" was going to put the child waiting behind us in grave danger. We explained to her that we did not know this was a travellers only site, and that everyone in line in front of us had informed us that this was a normal walk in site. She began to yell louder "I don't care what you didn't know, I don't care that you called, it wasn't our responsibility to tell you, I am going to call the police if you do not leave this second". My son then confronted her as we began to walk away, telling her that she did not have to be so rude, she then responded louder again "I definitely have to be this rude to you, this is what you deserve, do you want me to get your ID and call the police? Get out!" We were appalled by this behaviour, I am still shocked that we were treated this badly for simply trying to do the right thing and keeping the rest of society safe by getting a test. I don't understand why she could not have just calmly explained to us that this was a travellers only site, rather than threatening us with police. Absolutely not acceptable behaviour.

Wait times to get bloods done is just ridiculous. This is nothing new, you can't blame covid, it's just very inefficient service delivery. Ramp up your morning staff to meet volume then drop back after lunch.
