Ka Kao
Great wooden cottages in the middle of the wood, on the top of a hill. Each cottages is self-contained with a decent piece of land. Nice view from balcony on the valley. All of that 20 mins from the sea (Lorne). Bring your MTBs and enjoy the beautiful neighbourhood. Wineries, local restaurants and activities for kids all around the area. Walkability: We walked a few times from cottages to the"store" in Deans Marsh. Kids loved it, looking at horses, cattle. The Store is a nice place for breakfast or lunch or just for warm coffee.
