I was involved in a serious Motor Vehicle Accident in November 2020 where I sustained some serious injuries, as a result I contacted Shine Lawyers for guidance. I was fortunate enough to be assigned Ashleigh Kemp and Aimee Tonta as my lawyer and support lead to my case and I could not have been happier! I contacted shine after a orthapedic surgon said I needed to make a claim for medical negligence. I had 5 failed rotator cuff surgerys that i ultimatly ended up needing a lower trapezius transfer and now awaiting a shoulder replacement. it all started with a rip in a tendent that went south with an infection that wasn't picked up for 4 surgerys. I got the infection during the first surgery and that's lead to needing a shoulder replacement. All they were interested in was claiming a tpd pay out through my super, which I claimed on my own as you don't need a laywer for anything like this, and it takes no effort and time. As soon as I said I can handle the tpd payout myself and don't need a laywer for it, I could tell the interest was lost, it's 157,000 dollars they wanted there mits on. I repeated that I'm only contacting you in regards to the medical negligence. After and hour of talking to a lawyer that's additude quickly swapped from polite and nice into a cop having a bad day, they made me send through operation reports, wages for the last 4 years, contacting multiple doctors/accountants to get this information for them, they didn't even return a call. Do yourself a favour and contact a lawyers firm that has respect and integrity, these people only want to help with quick ezy things that pulls alot of money. Anything that takes effort and time will be ignored and discarded when dealing with them. Again pick a laywers firm that has many many ratings not just a few 4 star ratings. Good luck if you go with them, you'll need it
