Dandenong Hospital : Outpatients Clinic

Waited 2.5 hours in the outpatient clinic and then specialist walked in, didnt introduce himself, hadnt read the case notes, didnt provide assessment of risks until asked about two more operations, didnt tell me that the operation had only been 20 percent successful yet they told district nurses that it was 80 percent successful. The senior nurse was excellent but service was worst ever from the specialist.

What a horrible place. Over crowded and they clearly over book. Its pretty disappointing they make everyone injured sit in a room for 2 hours. So disappointing. World class facilities yeah right!!

Was pretty good very busy, but with a 6hour round trip from regional Victoria it's a long day but great nurses they can only do their best.

Had an Appointment at 10 AM. Not sure who I got appointment with. Reached out to so called friendly staff but of no use. When someone has an appointment...please respect that. Understand a 30 min wait but waiting for hours and hours with fractured elbow and unbearable pain is like hell down under.

I was told under NO circumstances could I bring my 8 year old with me to an appointment for my 15 year old so I followed the rules and then I see other families bringing 4 teenage children taking up all the seats for NO REASON while people with broken legs stood up for 4 hours. Disgusting place and misleading information. ALSO install a screen that displays our names PLEASE because when you come out mumbling our name incorrectly and we can't make out what you are saying this makes the whole process a hell of a lot slower and more complicated than it needs to be... if you can't read basic names then GET A SCREEN TO DISPLAY IT which helps everyone!!!
