Spa Electrics are a super company with great product. The atom series hooked up to my astral connect 10 makes for an awesome plunge pool/spa. However, the materials and design of the atom makes it susceptible to breakage. The cover is held under pressure from screws at the rear. These are very brittle and the slightest knock can crack them. You can see in the pic where one has cracked and all of them soon fail. A light in a pool must be able to take the play of children where this is always going to happen. Replaced once before. Reception was awesome and product grilled me where I shared this info. We put it down to a bad batch of plastics but now I know different. I can say if its the same design I will reengineer it with silicone but really it needs a design with stainless screws in front through a cover ring to locknuts in rear. So back to Spa Electrics this week. Lets see if I can make this a 5 star review or not

Contrary to a lot of reviews, I have found Spa Electrics service to be top notch and very accommodating. When you buy a product it's not always about the product, but also the support that comes with it. Spa Electrics is a clear example of this.

I had a pool light fail, which was 10 months out of warranty. Was told to return it for free repair, and quickly got a brand new light back as replacement. So customer service very good, but would have preferred light not to fail. I see quite a few reviews reporting same experience.
