Disappointed and frustrated. Almost 12 months on, and barely any response, and nowhere near a solution from Asset. I was supplied a tooling for a draw bender that yields a center line radius much larger than whats specified. We sent photos of the result At the beginning, I received correspondence from Dave who is no longer there. Since December last year, Ive sent follow up emails on average once a month. Ive received one response from Trish, back in August Ive emailed and called, left messages and gotten nothing back. Ive been exceptionally patient. Ive knocked back work because I cant achieve the bend radius required. Didnt want to leave a a negative review, but I just want others to know what theyre in for when it comes to after sales service with Asset.

Bought the 1336 lathe. The motor had a bad screeching from the initial start up. They sent out a replacement motor quickly but the new one had the same problem! I stripped it down and found the rotor and stator coated in rust. The Pulley also kept walking off due to poor fit and excessive stick out from the motor shaft. Spindle nose also has plenty of runout. Total radio silence after the rust issue was reported. Spend $8000, BYO motor!

Nice people but will not take responsibility for shipping parts / spares and will not do anything for customers to ensure deliveries are on time. Do not use them for anything that is critical to your business. Multiple phone calls do not help. I will now buy a totally new machine to keep my workshop going as they cannot deliver on time and the delayed delivery (2 weeks + now) has cost me more than a total replacement machine.

Cant say enough about how happy we are with the service and the team beside Dave, was an absolute pleasure to deal with them and look forward to continuing the relationship along the track, we cannot recommend them highly enough.
