Stony Point Caravan Park

Lovely open areas in this park like Caravan park make for a pleasant stay. It has lush lawn areas and shady trees. The amenities are basic but spotlessly clean. There is a camp kitchen in a covered area - (think carport with clear awnings around it). Even though the camp kitchen is open at one end it has a heater and TV, fridge a couple of BBQ's and kitchen sink. The large grassed campsites are extremely close to the shoreline of Westernport bay. (Literally the other side of a no through road). The campground is very close to the train stop (Stony point is the end of the line), but it's a dinky 2 carriage train that toots gently before leaving the station and I found it very quaint. Not an annoyance at all. It would be very convenient if you wanted to travel to Melb by train. The manager of the park is very friendly and really accommodating. We came to the area for a dog sport trial. We camped for 2 nights in our camper with our dog and we can say that we enjoyed staying in this lovely quiet little spot. Would definitely come back here for a visit.

Great little caravan park for a short getaway Stingrays come into the jetty to feed on the discarded bits and pieces from the days catch Catch the ferry from here to French And Philip Islands

We stayed at this lovely Pet Friendly Caravan Park for 12 nights Our Hosts/Managers Shane and Helen were so helpful and friendly the Park amenities were always clean the lawns lush green and regularly mowed. Up the back was a big area where our fur babies could run. Beautiful area with everything close by. Will definitely be back to visit this top little Park. Thank you Shane and Helen.
