Crawford River Wines

Looked up the winery on the internet Showed it was open Rocked up to be told it is by appointment only and to come back Too busy!!!! Very ordinary customer service

We have visited the winery and ordered wines over the past years. I have given two stars because the wines are good - with the exception below - by-ut the customer service poor. We bought a couple of 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserves from Crawford River.The aged wines are meant to be kept. We have a bad bottle and the winery refuses to compensate or replace it. Beware of keeping wines, especially costly ones. As far as Crawford River is concerned, that's just bad luck, as it happens to them too. This is a quote from Catherine. What a shame that the winery has such a terrible customer policy. We have a second bottle and will post here if there is an issue after opening. I may add that this is a bottle that cost approximately $85. We will not be purchasing wine from them anymore. I have posted on FB, and am waiting to see if the winery deletes my post. I need to update this because some time after this happened and I had posted The review, Fiona contacted us and really was so sweet and sent us replacement wine. And that of course we bought more as it is really good wine.

Arguably best riesling in Oz. The cabernet is unsung but really really good..semsav also outstanding. Cellar door is definitively out of the way. We drove 2 hours and it was so worth it. Charming. Great outlook and always good to meet the people behind the wine.

Rude woman answered the phone when I asked her if they are open for wine tasting tonight her response was whether I knew that it was 7pm. 7pm, really??? Unprofessional, would not recommend dealing with them.
