Fellcroft Farmstay

Veronica was so welcoming and so incredible with her attention to detail in the property. We felt very taken care of at Fellcroft and loved the nods to local businesses around Wren. The views were breathtaking and being so close to many adorable small towns made for many enjoyable days exploring. Thank you so much to Veronica and her family for opening up their home for us to be able to enjoy this amazing spot

If you want a taste of true country living with a good dose of true old fashioned country hospitality, then you cant go past Fellcroft Farmstay. The location is awesome, the accomodation is cosy with a super comfy King bed, and the views are amazing - sitting on the front veranda and your vista is Mount Macedon with Hanging Rock in the foreground (a unique Southerly view); the back verandah has you gazing at grazing sheep with rolling hills of the Great Dividing Range in the background. Veronica was the perfect host checking first thing in the morning (via text) to see whether we needed anything. As its a working farm we were lucky to see sheep shearing which was a real treat for us city folk. The real beauty about all this is its only 90km from the Melb CBD. Fellcroft was the perfect tonic for a very relaxing short break. We look forward to returning.

This property came highly recommended to us and we were in no way disappointed. We enjoyed the magnificent, peaceful location with its extensive views across to Mount Macedon. Wren Cottage was a delight and well appointed. Veronica is a most helpful and generous host. Our 4 night pre-Christmas stay provided us with the opportunity to explore the area in some detail, enjoying local town atmosphere, walks by the Campaspe & Coliban rivers and in the Cobaw range behind Fellcroft. Fabulous and highly recommended!
