Ponyland / Yarra Valley Trails

Both of us had an absolutely fantastic time and I'd highly recommend the Hands On Package. You'll get to spend time with the horses, brush them, learn some basic skills before going for the 1 hour trail. My favourite part - spending time and brushing the horses! Ponyland team was so attentive during the whole experience and we were well looked after and Glen was checking in often to make sure that everything is going well and that we're having a great time. Loved it and will definitely visit again! I miss Archie and Rocko !!!

Best riding experience by far, Glenn had given us a personalised and detailed run down and introduce us Tess and Archie , they are very calm and gentle horses, the ride is relaxed and you get to enjoy the view and see wild animals greeting you on your way. Also note that both horses are very clean and look well looked after. You definitely in good hands, will return for sure

Ive been here multiple time and have ridden archie the chestnut horse hes wonderful,this place is on top,they take care of their horses really well and will check up on you while on the ride.

We had an absolute ball riding Archie and Beau, under the watchful eye of Glen. We opted to get acquainted with our horses before the trail ride which were so glad we did. We got to brush the horses, help saddle them up for our ride, and spend some quality time learning the basics and how to navigate the horses. Glen was great, very encouraging and helped us feel very comfortable and at ease whilst riding. It was great sharing some stories and laughs on the ride. The trail was perfect for beginners - a few small jumps, a chance to trot, and a few sml hills to go up and down. Got to see some of the beautiful wildlife - lots of kangaroos, a deer, and wander through the most beautiful bushland. We are already wanting to book another ride and cant wait to come back. Zelda: Breath of the wild-but 100% better! Thank you Glen for a wonderful first time riding experience. Very professional. The ride was a perfect level of difficulty for us and we felt very safe and in good hands while admiring the beautiful bush on a relaxing trot! The trees and grass in the bush were full of butterflies!!! Almost an other worldly experience. Absolutely incredible. I rode Archie who was a perfectly refined gentleman horse . Archie was super calm and I felt he was very proud to give me his special guided tour. My partner rode Rocko who gave us a good laugh with his cheeky grass nibbling and side-eyes on all the yummy looking tufts of grass. Very lovable and adorable horses. If you arent sure if youre a horse person you will be convinced very quickly. We Genuinely feel once isnt enough and want to come back to ride again! We love hiking, but on horseback is the only way to see the Australian bush.
