Cape Schanck Lighthouse Reserve Carpark

Would recommend highly if you are travelling down this way or thinking on a trip, its very beautiful and an amazing place to visit in all different climates

The Lighthouse car park is not huge but at least it has parking bays & toilets. Come early esp. over popular summer holiday period to get a spot. The Two Bays Walking Track terminates here & truly is a rewarding end point in any weather. Alternate signposted options- walk a short distance to a lookout over the Bay or a much longer one (7.5 kms) heading out to Bushrangers Bay car park on Boneo Rd. Buzzing winged beasties can be a pain in hot weather - insect repellent & good sun protection advisable. Boardwalk stairs are further down from car park area - lead to Pebble Beach (not a sandy swim beach) but for viewing the rugged landscape & marine rock pool life up close. Assess your fitness to make the return trip.. Take drinking water with you in hot weather. The winds are strong & there are warning about treacherous waves that crash over the steps & boardwalk in adverse weather. Definitely worth the walk down on a calmer day
