Oz Tyre Recyclers

March 2022 - 1 Star - Been a customer of Oz Tyre Recylers for 4 years on a fortnightly pickup schedule. They were great up until September 2021. In the last 6 months to March 2022, I have had only 2x collections! - 1x in November, and 1x in January. Both collections were only made after calling multiple times and being told that drivers would show up, only to have them fail to show, and to be given excuses about truck broken down, covid hitting drivers, lockdowns etc etc - you name it, I've heard it. Meanwhile, prices have gone through the roof and service has dropped though the floor. Last 2x pickups we have filled the truck to capacity, and again, in March 2022 we are drowning in tyres with no contact whatsoever from this company. Lots of promises about improving service and getting back to normal, but no follow through. I understand disposal prices had to go up, but there's no excuse for the poor service. December 2022 - 3 Stars Service is improving, although I'm still having to call on a regular basis to organise pickups when our collections just don't happen. We are supposed to be on a regular pickup cycle, but sometimes we end up going 6 weeks without a pickup. Then when I call, I get scheduled in - but why does it take for me to call to get a pickup? At least when I call now, the staff are friendly and seem like they want to provide a better service. Here's hoping the service continues improving in 2023.

Oz Tyre Recyclers pick up casings from my store Tyreplus South Melbourne. It was the best decision weve ever made their never late, they alway have 2 people with them, and very well priced.
