The facilities, equipment and app are really good however the pressure to sign up to challenges and the way money is a priority is why I left. They say they care about their members and at times this was the case but the few negative interactions I had with particular staff members left me feeling dejected and low. I think the staff need more training in their approach and interactions with members. Just a very money hungry gym in my opinion. Child care however was awesome!

Tremendous pressure to enrol! and wouldn't recommend anyone coming here because the one lady who was accusing my daughter last week of trespassing even though she had a membership had no idea of having her card since she hasn't been there in a while because the last time she went was with me a couple of weeks ago. The lady was giving a very rude, sarcastic tone and threatened my 14-year-old daughter with a fine! Although I have observed the entire staff to be quite friendly, I did not anticipate an adult woman to be conversing with my daughter in such a way I was unbelieved when she she came home and told me this no ones child should ever be experiencing this nasty behaviour especially from an adult.

I wanted to pause my membership for a while because I was travelling overseas, and they literally told me they would do so, but they continued to deduct money from my credit card every week. When I asked the staff about this, they said that I couldn't pause my membership and that they had to take money instead. Also, they are very pushy about raising the cost of your subscription. Not everyone can afford this gym especially mothers with Children especially without any support or any child 15 and over. Fernwood outperforms. If you prefer a cheaper gym, visit anytime fitnesses.

Im very happy at Fernwood Cairnlea. The staff are very friendly and quick to help. Today I couldnt get into the gym after hours (my fault, was not holding my pass long enough) I DMd on Facebook and the response was so fast and resolved. Thank you Amanda and staff! Love your work.
