Lovely secluded place to stay, with excellent little multibed lodge houses, and friendly staff. The bar/dining area is very hospitable with a decent selection, but be aware that the nearest stores are either on the other side of the Grampians or an hour's drive the other direction! A fantastic getaway but you still need a car to get anywhere.

I could not resist writing my first review of any places I have stayed so far. First of all, as the name clearly states "wilderness", this place stands to its name. A perfect place for people seeking refuge in the lap of mother nature. The cabins were awesome as per the "wilderness" standards. Again, comparing them with hotel room would be an injustice as hotel rooms are about luxury and comfort. These rooms are about being "junglee" and close to nature. If you want to be feel how it feels to be in jungle, this is the place to be otherwise booking another hotel would help you. This place is about being in wilderness, if you happy with 1) small creatures around you 2) Wild kangaroos around 3) night sky full of stars 4) no noise /sound zone 5) nature and wilderness 6) good stories from Steve 7)& Jungle standard's comfort and luxury Then this is the place to be If you are looking for 1) Hotel grade clean rooms 2) luxury as per "human society's" standard 3) no wilderness this is not a place to be.
