Bayswater Custom Trailers

My personal experience was AWFUL! Purchased grooming trailer back in April of 2022. Was told it would be an 8 to 10 week turn around due to “covid” delays. Had zero communication from him about the startings of my build within that 10 weeks. Got to about 14 weeks i had tried a few times to get some kind of idea of when it would be completed as my business was running from a hired trailer. Due to lack of communication i gave Malcolm a chance to make me feel secure in my purchase or i would pull my money from the build. He after some back and forth agreed. Another 8 weeks went by without any communication from his end about the start of my build so i grew very upset. I ended up going down to the warehouse to sight my alleged build. I finally was giving a date to come collect my completed trailer. We organised for me to arrive at 6pm. When i arrived the trailer was not ready so i said i would hand about till it was. I was made to wait till 8:30pm !!! And what was produced was a half finished trailer. My shelving had no doors… the dryer was not mounted and still in its box, there was no first aid kit or fire extinguisher, the aircon remote was not mounted, the was not ventilation, the ramp was not fitted, the caulking to my floors was done with gaps, the windows weren't fitted properly and you could see into the walls standing at the door. When i pointed these things out i was told to come back at the “first service in 4 weeks time and he would fix the issues” at 8:30 at night i was not prepared to argue and left really upset with my unfinished trailer. I called Malcolm first thing the next morning and had to argue the point to have my trailer finished! It took two more times to finally get it done and things were “half arsed” it took a further 6 or so weeks of back and forth IN EMAIL as he no longer would take my calls, to get the trailer to barely how i wanted it (so much for CUSTOM TRAILERS) which were very minimal changes! Part of the price i paid upfront also included a $1000 small cage that he never ordered (i had to call the supplier to find this out) and failed to provide. He also made it very hard to get this money back! I would not and will not recommend this company, as i do not want anyone else to go through what i did. Unfortunately there have been many after me that i have also read about.STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY ESPECIALLY AS A GROOMER WANTING A GROOMING TRAILER!

Excellent workmanship and the best paint jobs I've seen on trailers. Very competent with everything from servicing to major repairs and new builds.

We love our trailer from Bayswater Custom Trailers, its super solid, a really great quality build and have had it serviced there twice since owning it and service has been great. (Dual axle mowing trailer with 1400 mower box.) Thanks Mal.

Great quality trailer and good value for money. Malcolm communicate well through the process and offered handy options that make things easier. Would definitely recommend!
