Baxter Laundrette

This laundromat has fallen into disrepair, been going there for many years to wash the dog, but over the past few months, the machines just swallow your money. The facilities are dirty and neglected.

Dirty machines lots of soap and dirt around door and soap dispenser in the machine, out of order machines that have been for a considerable time. I had to wipe down with disinfectant wipes before I used the machines will look for another laundry whilst my renovations are being done.

I have been using this Laundromat to wash my dog bed on a regular but infrequent basis for a number of years and in the past have found it to be well maintained and clean. I was surprised at the presentation of the business from the moment I entered. As I walked down to my usual machine, I couldnt work out if it was out of order or not. The door handle was taped up, but it certainly wasnt clear if it was in working order. I checked the other machines, all were presented in a filthy state. I found a smaller machine and hoped for the best. There are no clear instructions for any of the machines, do they only take $1.00 coins? The whole animal section is presented in appalling condition, floors, walls, windows, machines, toilet, dog wash areas were just shocking to see. Plus it smells really bad! Has the business changed hands. Has the owner forgotten that there are basic hygiene levels, regardless of animals or human use. I checked out the general laundromat area and it appeared to be a lot cleaner and reasonably presented. However it certainly was not immaculate. I dont understand how such a great business in the past could decline in such a small time frame. Its very sad to see.

Place stinks and dirty. Went to wash dog blankets. 3 machines broken. Small $10 machine wouldnt accept coins and kept rejecting them. Lost $4. Most larger machines need $25 in $1 coins. Seriously? Gaffa tape holding doors closed. Poor signage for costs or assistance. B&#*@y disgrace. Tried to ring mobile for help. Went to txt message bank. 1 star is 1 to many!
