Mr Douraid Abbas

Douraid was kind, caring and treated me with dignity, when my kids aged 13 and 14 had concerns he spoke to them and encouraged them to ask questions as well. Would thoroughly recommend him to any woman looking for a surgeon who needs a doctor who not only looks after their patients but is compassionate towards his patients and whilst he may of done the surgery a thousand times he also knows this is your first.

Dr Abbas is wonderful! Right from the start, he was welcoming, didnt put me down at all, he was very informative and explained my options. He has a great bedside manner and is quite funny as well. Excellent surgeon. Since May last year Ive lost just over 50kg with having a mini bypass with minimiser ring. Im forever grateful to him and his team at Central Highlands Surgeons.

The weightloss surgery performed by Mr Abbas has been life changing. Its been 12 months and i have had no complications at all just excellent results. He is very approachable and i always leave appointments with a smile. The staff at CHS are lovely and very helpful. I would 100% recommend CHS.

Dr abbas has done 4 different surgeries on me from 2018 - 2023, i wont go to any other dr for general surgery, he takes his time with each patient to talk through each procedure and make sure you know all your options if you dont like or dont agree or dont under stand he will re explan, find a solution an listen to your concerns. I really find that douraid is a 1 of a kind doctor that put his patients first, he treat you like a human and not a number or money. He treats his reciptionest like family too he will often be seen out the front having a joke about grabbing the wrong paper work and or just having a laugh, his care post surgery is just the same hes not the type of dr to not follow up and see how you are post surgery either his bed side manner i fantastic. Theres a reason ive refered 8 friends to him his best surgeon ive had and ive had 18 surgerys,
