Great exhibition experience in many different locations/spaces around Ballarat. Linda McCartney retrospective is well curated and a great experience. Thanks to all staff who did an amazing job at every venue. Especially those who are volunteers - great yellow and black uniforms, so helpful to see them when looking for venues around town. Big thanks to everyone who made this possible.

The Linda Eastman exhibition contained some wonderful work, she was a really talented photographer who would have found fame if she had never married Paul. Of particular interest were her polaroid transfer and cyanotype work. Sadly, like most photo exhibitions these days, the rooms were terribly dark which made the work quite hard to see. I know curators keep saying they have to be dark to preserve the longevity of the work but it's getting a bit ridiculous now, it was like I was wearing sunglasses. I'm quite sure if Linda had walked in she would have told the organisers to turn up the lights. It's getting less likely that I will travel to a photo exhibition now that this lighting trend seems like its here to stay. If you go, take a headlamp although it would probably be taken off you.

What a fantastic event in beautiful Ballarat. Linda McCartneys work is truly inspiring to see and I love the way her work chronicles her life. Other exhibitions are all over Ballarat (literally on the sidewalks, walls, fences, etc.) and so much fun to discover.
