We purchased a Tasbuilt home in 2017. The process was seamless and the company were easy to deal with and we were pleased with the completed house. Tasbuilt were attentive and pleasant to deal with. However in 2021 we noticed excessive corrosion around Tek screws holding wall sheeting in place. I photographed the issue and then painted over the corrosion. I alerted Tasbuilt about the problem. As I had painted the area no warranty or rectification was offered. Even after viewing the photographs. The corrosion was unusual and clearly a fault in either the colourbond sheeting or the tek screws. This would have been obvious to both Tasbuilt and the steel supplier. The house was built in a coastal environment and higher spec colourbond and teks had been requested. I had also had issues with corrosion on roof teks. Tasbuilt did rectify this and replaced some teks, without notifying me. However to see the level of corrosion on coastal spec teks after just three years, leads me to suspect cheaper teks not rated to coastal exposure were used. Higher spec coastal exposure teks were specified before the house was built as was colourbond wall cladding for coastal exposure. It was a disappointing outcome after we had received excellent service from Tasbuilt.

West Tamar Council recently engaged Tasbuilt Commercial to construct new change rooms to cater for Womens AFL Football at the Bridgenorth Football Ground. It was great to be able to work with a local manufacturer who are passionate about what they do and put the needs of the client fist. The whole process was made as easy as it could be from planning right through to the end of the build. The ability to build offsite meant minimal disruption time at the venue. Any changes which needed to be made during the project were clearly defined and discussed with us. We found any additions to the contract were fairly priced and in some cases reductions were made for variations resulting in a cost benefit. The project was also completed within the given time frame and we were impressed by the sturdiness and quality of the finished product. Tasbuilt and all their employees operated with the utmost respect, fairness and integrity at all times. I have overseen many contracts in my role and have not seen a better or more professional supplier. I would highly recommend them to any potential client.
