Chippies Right Royal Fish N Chips

Instantly the restaurant is aesthetically pleasing, in the overtly over the top way. The food is just as amazing! Great service too! (Also - Those pearl necklaces are amazing!)

Fresh fish, good crispy batter, excellent chips, and mushy peas like the proper places in England. They don't skimp on the tartar sauce either. Plus the owner is a top guy, who came out and had a beer with me at the end. Really worth going to, and very reasonably priced.

Overpriced, $28 for a pie that is indistinguishable from a service station pie and cold in the middle. Squid from a box at hand cut prices. Chips are normal boring chips all at a premium.

This has been the best fish and chips dinner I have eaten in Battery Point. The batter was great and the chips crisp. Minty mushy peas. More condiments at the table besides the usual salt and pepper - ketchup, dark vinegar, chicken salt and vinegared salt were provided. 10/10 would return for the next visit to Hobart.
