        We recently bought a new wood heater from Hunts Heating in Moonah. Not only were they helpful but they were happy to come and assess our fireplace prior to installation and offer advice. The service was excellent, professional and timely. We can highly recommend them if you need to upgrade your heater or have a new wood burner installed.

        Looking for the most thermally efficient Australian made fireplace we chose a Nectre MK1LE The fireplace certainly puts out the heat, however it is very difficult to load fuel into the firebox without a cloud of smoke and particulate matter coming out of the door opening and into the room.This is after opening both vents (door and flue) and cracking the door open slowly to try and get a rush of air up the chimney. On going back to Hunts heating to ask if the flue was needing a better cap or adjustment I was told Welcome to the world of modern fireplaces !!! I would have expected more for $3000 plus $660 installation.
