We are so lucky to have this wonderful service. From the knowledgeable staff who answered my phone enquiry to the wonderful vet who was so compassionate and considerate to both us and our beloved dog who was very scared with a very painful tail. Thankyou.

I have nothing but praise for how well we were looked after here. Empathy, care and compassion when we (my family) were devastated having to put our most beloved Border Collie, Alfie down. Thank you.

We took our cat there on a Sunday after he suddenly couldn't use his back leg. Rang first and told that he would be seen, and $260 upfront. We ook him in, was given some forms, then told $500 before he was even looked at. Paid this, and the vet took him into a room. Partner was told ,our cat would need x-rays,& may need to stay overnight. We then left. Just over 3 hours later partner was called & told we could come and pick him up. When we got there the receptionist told us that another $370 was required. We paid this again, and the vet shortly after came out. Her diagnosis was that after doing 2 x-rays,that showed nothing,.the answer was, that she did Not know what was wrong with him,and if he got worse take him to our own vet. Was given a small bottle of medicine and told goodbye. $870.00 for " I don't know". Not right. Have now had to book him into our own vet. I understand that there are fees involved, but $870 for 2 x-rays & no r a " Don't Know,. doesn't seem at all right, and definitely does not help the animal or the owners. How can anyone be charged for a ,Don't know.

I took my cat Crookshanks here when he had an extremely low red blood cell count and he needed a blood transfusion urgently. As my bad luck would have it, my cat was the more uncommon blood type (B), and the vets worked hard to find him a donor. It ended up being one of the staff who brought in their cat who was a match for my little man and we managed to get the blood transfusion done in the middle on the night. The staff dealt with me being a crying blubbering mess and were so kind and patient with me. They're the reason I still have my little guy and without them he would have passed away several months ago. He has such amazing quality of life now and I'm just so grateful to the staff here for working so hard to help us. We still haven't figured out the cause of his illness but he's happy and comfortable.
