So heres the deal. This isnt a whizz-bang glass-and-stainless-steel surgery. Mr Brennans rooms are in a heritage building in central Hobart - the operation is old-school - think pen and paper, piles of cardboard files, borderline vintage equipment. If youre looking for gleaming, American-style healthcare, this might not be for you. But Ill say this: my 5 year old son presented with an infection-related ear blockage and over the course of the next 3 weeks Mr Brennan gently cleared the blockage, ensuring all the time that (inevitable) discomfort was kept to a minimum. When, on the 4th visit, my son could bear the cleans no longer, Mr Brennan said a clean under general anaesthetic was the only solution. An appointment was made for my son to have the procedure *the next day*. My son is now cured. Mr Brennan may be a bit old-fashioned for you, but he is clearly a surgeon of great experience and I trust him implicitly. The services of this kind of professional arent cheap - nor should they be. Medicare rebates reduced the price of subsequent consultations to $60 for about 20-25 minutes. Hardly a kings ransom for a consultant surgeon. To give one star ratings based on your dislike of vintage carpet is just absurd.

On examination he diagnosed the issue promptly, explained clearly the day surgery required to rectify the issue. He also explained any potential post operative symptoms to expect. I had the operation within a few weeks, post opp symptoms were exactly as he had explained. 4 weeks post opp my voice is back to normal and my quality of life is better than ever as I can breath unrestricted. Dr Brennan was a man of few words sure but he delivered the facts clearly and carried out the procedures with very little fuss.

I couldnt fault Dr Brennan, he saw my son for a consult on Monday morning and we were in surgery 3 days later. My little boy can likely hear properly for the first time ever. The initial consult was $180 and surgery was $1360! Thank you Dr Brennan for taking my concerns seriously and getting my sons hearing sorted so quickly.

I must admit I seen Dr Warwick Brennan a number of years ago,and initially we didn't exactly see eye to eye with my diagnosis but after recentlygetting referred through the royal hobart hospital scheme to Dr Brennan this time I had a very pleasant experience, he actually remembered me from my first visit and showed a very compassionate and caring side to my ailment with my deteriorated tonsils. Without even have to look down my throat based on my symptoms and answers I told him,he booked me immediately to have them removed. 1 month later I was operated on up at St John's hospital and was really taken care of by himself,the anesthetist and nursing staff at the highest standard. I would gladly recommend him to anyone considering their options. He has been doing this a very long time and is good at what he does. I now have a new lease on life and can actually start to live again without carry this burden I had for so long. Thank you Dr Brennan
