Before I contacted Bec Tilley, I had never sung or performed in front of an audience. I had no idea what to expect. Bec helped me find my voice for my singing solo and helped me learn how to project my voice for live stage/theatre. It was a truly remarkable learning curve. We had 10 sessions all online that was easy and reliable. The quality was great and with a few adjustments it was clear Bec knew exactly what she was doing. My performance went amazing and it sounds like I can now sing. Thank you for all your help.

I started having lessons with Bec as a way of having some fun and to get back into signing, which is something I hadn't done much of since singing in a choir as a teenager. Lessons with Bec greatly exceeded my expectations! She taught me vocal techniques that I'd never been taught growing up and after about 9 months of lessons I have noticed an imporovment with my vocal capacity. Lessons were fun and engaging, and Bec really made me feel at ease signing in front of another person, which is something that I'd been afraid to do my whole adult life.

I've been working with Bec for almost a year now. I started out, having had vocal lessons in the past, mostly focused on polishing some rough edges and learning how to take care of my voice as I'd always found that was about the extent of what other teachers had to offer before they started trying to take my voice in a direction I just wasn't into. Working with Bec has been really different and so much more rewarding. Her approach just clicked for me (plus, when something doesn't click she's very patient ) and the focus is always on finding a way to help me safely achieve and control the sound I want. Sometimes it's vocal exercises and sometimes it's a (gentle) pep talk but it's always effective. TLDR, can't recommend Bec highly enough.
