Receptionists cant handle being asked simple questions and will get snippy if you do. Always have to wait for ages at appointments. Pay a ridiculous amount of money for substandard and incompetent care from psychiatrists.

It's like a lovely old hotel. Great food. Great staff who are very helpful and my psychiatrist was very knowledgeable and helpful. Great activities.

Staff were awesome, looked after your needs and requirements. Nurses are easy to talk to and you are able to share your thoughts and concerns and treatment plans without any judgement. Doctors and physicians are a little difficult to get hold of but generally you will be seen within the day. Treatment was Ok and the clinic requires emergency trained medical staff or facilities to accommodate emergency situations during treatment procedures. Rooms and ablutions are a little outdated and would suggest you take your own pillow and other comforts. Meals have improved dramatically with a on-premises chefs and cooks with better selection and a more personalised menu. Day therapy classes are limited on variety and I suggest that the clinic look into creating more variety of classes for a more generalised audience.

Terrible service for people that are meant to take care of people with mental health issues. Firstly my psychiatrist of 10 years dropped me with a letter in the mail telling me to go to the public system. No referral or follow up. Then finally when they open their books with new psychiatrists, I had a referral sent through and none of them will take me as a patient. Told me to go elsewhere. There is no where! Public I cannot get into unless Im suicidal. I have given them no reason I know of to do this. I asked why and they will not provide an explanation why as the books arent closed. Apparently in a private practice they dont have to give a reason. No one would have told me this had I have not rang to ask about the wait time. In my option their duty of care is laxed. I know of others that never got a call back from the practice at all after a referral was sent in. Not recommended!

Im really disappointed and traumatised with the mother baby unit. They have a single method to fit all children and dont embrace the mother at all. So the consequence was my baby lost weight over there and early wean. I do not recommend this place if you want to have a mental health.
