Classic, lets do everything poorly rather than one thing well. Avoid at all costs and if your insurer uses them, leave regardless of cost! I wouldnt ask them to even make a slice of buttered toast!

The worst builders and completely dysfunctional! The short story is so very long ! We had a bathroom installed in Sept 2019 by Johns Lyng Group A couple of weeks passed and we noticed bulging in the shower wall and JLG said the grouting hadnt set properly and they arranged to re-grout it. A few weeks later, we had a water mark appearing outside of the shower on the same wall but on the plaster, - to investigate they pulled the tiles off the wall in laundry wall behind the bathroom to discover the cause. Laundry was repaired and wall was retiled. When installing the shower screen, a screw was drilled into a copper pipe and hot water had been running through the wall every time we used the shower. Laundry was repaired and wall was replaced in the bathroom About 12 months ago (2 years later), we found that the floating floor was lifting in the laundry and there were also water marks seeping in to the grout of the floor tiles in the bathroom. We lodged a new claim and JLG were appointed again. The work took 8 months to partially complete- including pulling the entire laundry - including cabinets, sink, replacing the floor (dried out for days and then cut out completely) and the bi-fold door, replacing the toilet. The floating floor extends through the kitchen and hallway so had to be replaced (- note: laundry door is still not painted) The floor was ripped up through the house and it took 7 weeks to relay the new one, To address the water issue in the bathroom, it was decided that there was still an issue with waterproofing- apparently it was compromised Johns Lyng Group has just pulled out the 3yo bathroom completely - the room was gutted in the 15/11, and then nothing ! No progress since and a myriad of excuses for no tradesman or action - even had COVID used as an excuse. The insurance company Hollard insurance clearly dont care !! In the demo of the bathroom, further damage has occurred to the roof which will need to be repaired. We have had a new assessor out last week to review the job and he stopped works An absolute joke which spans across at least 4 different JLG supervisors, all nice people but incapable of accessing, engaging or retaining contractors.
