The Surf Shop

Not really vibing with the service in this store. Entered with a group of friends on a Saturday and the young blonde girl was behind the counter in her phone. At first I was the only person in the store then a few more tourists entered and another family and then my friends. No greeting at all. It wasnt until another gentleman entered the store that she got off Instagram and did a floor walk. Out of nowhere, there was now another girl sitting on a stool behind the counter eating and on her phone. For a small store, Id want people to work that want to be there. Im a retail store manager and the experience was pretty disappointing. Id hate to be paying my team members to be on social media all day when they could have done the bare minimum and said hello.

I am visiting Victor Harbour from adelaide with 4 teen girls. Unexpected need for period swimwear. Not only the biggest swimwear shop in a seaside town not cary a single period suitable piece but the assistant assured me there was no need for it. Its 2022! Half of your customers are women and girls. Its sad I have to drive to adelaide to a sport shop to buy essentials. And no, not all your female customers will have my confidence to approach for assistance. They will simply look and be disappointed. Not impressed with the assistant spoking very loudly about non existence of period swimwear and rudely recommending tampons! Shame, really.

Cool range. Looks small from outside but is quite large inside with many brands and lots of stock.

Great collection, has just about everything and they also encouraged me to bring my dog in to browse with me which was a bonus!
