I didn't actually get past the reception side of things. First Port of call is receptionist side, that put me off from making an appointment with the dentist. Sorry too say!!! I didn't find her helpful, she came across rude and abrupt. She made out that i probably would pay a bigger gap fee for my extras cover AHM. She told me that i need to contact them too get preferred dentists that deal with ahm. So i did, ahm we're very helpful, they told me i can go to any dentist and that my policy is 60% Cover. I rang that dentist back, which receptionist (practice manager)was ahm customer herself, i spoke too her again and said i contacted my dental extra's too which she replied and said she googled herself and i mentioned that i would have the cover and told her i found her to be quite rude and abrupt and not very helpful or empathetic. Too which she still stated quite rudely and asked " do i still want to make an appointment? Which i replied " not really" after that she was telling me about her cover with ahm etc.. all i wanted was help to get a dentist appointment as soon as possible. In the end she put me off wanting to walk further past the front door. So won't get the chance to see the dentist as if i walk into an unapproachable front reception i know im not going to feel comfortable and relaxed too go any further. Something i thought was going to be convenient and 2 doors down from where i live, I have now made an appointment at a dentist that has good reviews and where an appointment was made and the staff we're friendly and helpful. So was very off putting
