Specsavers Optometrists & Audiology - Mitcham

I hate giving bad reviews but truly my experience with the Mitcham store has been amateurish at best. The staff are lovely, very eager to please and very knowledgeable but after that it turns to grief. After waiting three weeks my order came back wrong...two pair of glasses with long range lenses when I asked for bifocal lenses. I waited another three weeks, after paying another $169 and had to ring to see if my glasses were ready. They'd been there for several days without notifying me. Never again.

Was seen by Vincent Tang after being referred by an ophthalmologist for potentially needing prescription eyewear. Was very honest and told me after testing that getting the prescription eyewear wasn't necessary right now, where as I would expect some places to deceive customers in order to get money. He also helped address another problem that I have had for years that the ophthalmologist couldn't help me with. Go figure. Will be coming back here to get my prescription eyewear when the day comes that I actually do need it. Thanks again Vincent!

Purchased 6 months of contacts via an existing opsm prescription. First time at specsavers only because they're preferred providers of defence health. Specsavers mitcham filled the script incorrectly. This was fixed after I realised the mistake. Nonetheless, it shouldn't have happened and caused a lot of grief. Will be providing feedback to defence health.
