Wondeful! Food was lovely (cauliflower steak was the best I have ever have!), service was exceptional and the open wood fires made it cosy and inviting. Highly recommended.

Really friendly wait staff, great ambience with lovely log fire and I cannot recommend the cauliflower steak highly enough. I would definitely recommend 1918!

Great intimate venue with fantastic staff who are discreet, attentive and respectful. My main course of mussels were unfortunately under par twice yet our waiter did the most to ensure that our experience was ultimately positive. Recommend you book as they are very busy.

As good as any restaurant in Melbourne. We had the lobster/prawn starter followed by a steak and mussels. Mussels were not to our liking and our waiter insisted on removing them from the bill. We shared a desert which was the Eton Mess which was inspiring. The stand out for us was the exquisite service. The waiter that was looking after us was simply perfect. He was attentive without being in our space. Well done 1918 you exceeded our expectations and we have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant to anyone seeking a special night out. Fire place was also a welcome addition. Five stars. Parking: Good street parking right at the front door.
